Are The Foods You Eat Toxic To Your Body? by Mickey Thienes
Do you know your blood type?
You should. There's mounting evidence among multiple researchers that say your blood type can be key to your health and happiness. Wow! That covers a lot.
How can your health be affected by blood type? Quite simply, your body reacts to improper food by forming blood lectins (toxins) which causes your body to treat the food you eat like a poison. Foods that are wrong for your blood type can trigger mild to severe allergic reactions in your body (i.e. indigestion, acid-reflux, bloating, gas, headaches, nausea, dizziness, heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, asthma attack, fatigue, rashes, aching joints, muscle cramps and more.). Your body immediately tries to protect itself, by triggering your digestive system to reject the food you've eaten and convert it to fat. Other reactions occur, too, some so slight you don't notice them. Long term exposure to foods that your body rejects and can no longer adapt to results in illness and disease.
How can your happiness be affected by blood type? Your blood type actually determines part of your personality, the innate you, how you react to stress, how you greet a new situation, how you exercise. Friends, companions and spouses of the same blood type will provide you the kind of support you need because deep down inside, literally in the blood, they are like you.
Quite a few years ago, I decided to become a vegetarian. My son, Kurt, agreed to try it too. He's a good fellow; I don't suppose he cared what we ate as long as the food kept coming and plenty of it. Since I worked from my home, it was easy to make the change and the next day, we were vegans. Vegans eat no animal product whether dairy, eggs, or honey and especially meat.
In less than a week I was thinking, I feel really good. This is me! I just assumed Kurt also felt good. Since I was used to cooking meat dishes, I continued cooking the same type things using meat substitutes; that way the food would look and taste the same. One evening, I fixed a stir fry using a "beef" substitute that came in a box. Kurt cleaned his plate, the skillet, and then the box of meat substitute. Boy, that must have been a delicious stir fry.
I also noticed, as the weeks passed, that Kurt wasn't doing well either physically or emotionally. I didn't know why. I thought we were eating better quality food. It wasn't until years later that I learned the answer when I started selling the book Eat Right 4 Your Type by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo in the store. I was a blood type A, a natural vegetarian; Kurt was a blood type O, a natural red meat eater. I was starving the poor kid for nutrition and didn't know it.
Knowing your blood type can be the key to real nutrition and the key to preventing illness and disease for everyone in your family. I have a mixed blood type family. When I fixed things my son liked, I didn't do well. When I fixed things I liked, he didn't do well. I could have compensated for both our needs had I known back then about the differences in blood type. How common are mixed blood type families? I would guess 50% of the families I've encountered in the store are mixed blood type. I even met a family who had all four blood types: O, A, B, & AB.
Major symptoms that indicate the foods you are eating are creating toxins in your blood and your body is trying to reject them.
Indigestion, bloating, gas, acid-reflux, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, mucous, night sweats, diarrhea, headaches, migraines, muscle aches, cramping, aching joints, back aches, blurred vision, dizziness, sleepiness, fatigue, confusion, forgetfulness, irritability, sudden anger or hostility, rapid heart beat, cardiac arrhythmia, high blood pressure, chest pains, difficulty in breathing, asthma attacks, skin rashes and irritations, etc. Unusual weight gain and constipation is also an indication that the foods you are eating are toxic to your body and cannot be properly digested. Your digestive system converts the toxic foods to fat and stores it in your body. The buildup of blood toxins stored in your body are the causes of many preventable diseases.

Type O: Physical, aggressive go getter. People with blood type O need red meat and vegetables, with few carbs from grains. This blood type does well on the high protein, low carb lifestyle. Many O's end up with acid reflux, not because they produce too much stomach acid, but because they are eating food they cannot digest. This food ferments in the stomach and starts kicking back-acid reflux. O's generally don't like to drink water so train yourself to drink this elixir of life. You thrive on strong, physical exercise so if your job entails desk work, be sure to dig ditches or go to the gym when you get home. The more you do the better you feel. Physical exercise is your stress reliever.
Type O Sample of Foods to Avoid: Pork, catfish, caviar, lox, smoked salmon, kidney and navy beans, lentils, brazil nuts, cashews, peanuts, peanut butter, peanut oil, corn oil, safflower oil, oats, wheat, cheese, milk, buttermilk, yogurt, whey, multi-grain or wheat bread, avacados, cabbage, cauliflower, corn, eggplant, mushrooms, olives, potatoes, blackberries, cantaloupe, coconut, oranges, apple juice or cider, pasta, certain spices, coffee, sodas, alkaline liquor, black tea. * See the book for more details and an extensive list of foods you should eat to restore your health.
Type A: Laid back, easy going, always thinking, Type A does well on a vegetarian diet, the kind that allows chicken, turkey, fish and eggs. A's don't need as much protein as other blood types and they do need the complex carbs in whole grains and seeds, such as whole wheat, oats and corn. A's are extremely sensitive to chemicals, in the environment, the food, even the clothing you wear. Because your immune system consists of drowning germs in mucous, you will be prone to respiratory ailments, including asthma, if you don't watch what you eat. A's don't need strong physical exercise; a peaceful, relaxed, easy going lifestyle is perfect for A's and gives them the stress relief they need.
Type A Sample of Foods to Avoid: Beef, buffalo, duck, goose, lamb, liver, mutton, pheasant, pork, rabbit, veal, venison, quail, anchovy, all scanvenger fish and crustations, beans, dairy products, cheese, brazil nuts, cashews, pistachios, oils; corn, cottonseed, peanut, safflower, sesame, cabbage, eggplant, mushrooms, olives, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, yams, bananas, coconuts, mangoes, melons, oranges, papaya, wheat, multi-grain breads, pasta, select spices, beer, liquor, sodas, black tea. * See the book for more details and an extensive list of foods you should eat to restore your health.
Type B: Calm on the surface, ready to roar on the inside, B's need a little red meat, almost no carbs from grains, and nearly every fruit and vegetable under the sun. Chicken is like poison to B's and if you are eating chicken, you are suffering some form of indigestion. B's, like A's, have constant brain activity and must guard against low blood sugar; the brain requires a steady supply of fuel (blood sugar is not the same as table sugar) and in fact can burn more calories than from physical activity. B's, you stand apart from your fellow man. You don't really think like anyone else and this can isolate you if you don't have other B's or like minded people around you. B's benefit from strengthening exercise such as weight lifting or from using exercise machines.
Type B Sample of Foods to Avoid: Chicken, duck, goose, pork, quail, anchovy, all scanvenger fish and crustations, black and pinto beans, lentils, ice cream, american and blue cheese, select nuts, seeds, peanut butter, oils; corn, cottonseed, peanut, safflower, sesame, artichokes, avocados, corn, black olives, pumpkin, tofu, tomatoes, coconut, persimmons, barley, buckwheat, corn, wheat, mulit-grain breads, rye, select spices, alkaline liquor, sodas, select herbal teas, pasta, wild rice. * See the book for more details and an extensive list of foods you should eat to restore your health.
Type AB: Well here you are the rarest of all blood types and a relatively new blood type, at that. You literally are an A and a B and in my experience in meeting and talking with you, you exhibit both characteristics. Genetically, you are unique in that the two genes you carry for blood type are AB and AB. Neither is dominant and you are capable of giving an A blood gene or a B blood gene to your children. Here's a food alert for you! Both chicken and beef (and other red meats) are like poison to your body. You need a little turkey, a little fish (out of respect for your B'ness) and plants and grains (out of respect for you A'ness). You are physically stronger than A's but not as strong as B's. You have the good qualities from both A and B and you will be prone to illnesses both blood types get.
Type AB Sample of Foods to Avoid: Bacon, beef, buffalo, chicken, duck, pork, veal, venison, quail, all scanvenger fish and crustations, black, kidney and lima beans, milk and select dairy products, filberts, poppy, sesame, sunflower and pumkin seeds, oils; corn, cottonseed, safflower, sesame and sunflower, buckwheat, corn, barley, artichokes, avocados, black olives, peppers, radishes, bananas, coconuts, guava, mangoes, oranges, persimmons, select spices, black tea, sodas, select herbal teas. * See the book for more details and an extensive list of foods you should eat to restore your health.
